I was so stoked when I found these new Hot Wheels at my neighborhood Safeway. And get this, they had just filled up the shelves before I got there. Talk about being a lucky dude!
(1/5) Fiat 500
The Fiat 500 is a cool little car that's got two doors and four seats. The engine is in the front and the front wheels drive this bad boy. It was designed by Frank Stephenson and Roberto Giolito, who based it on the Fiat TrepiĆ¹no concept. They got inspired by the original Fiat 500, which was a total hit in the 50s and 60s. The Fiat 500 has been in production since 2007 and it's won lots of awards since then.
(2/5) '70 Ford Escort RS1600
The Ford Escort was made as an upgrade to the outdated Ford Anglia in the UK. It was a significant hit for the company in Asia-Pacific and Europe. The Ford Escort was manufactured in numerous European nations, including Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan. The Hot Wheels model shows a rally car based on the two-door saloon body with right-hand drive.
(3/5) Mini Cooper S Challenge
This race car is a real speed demon! It's based on the R56 Hardtop and has been specially designed for racing. The car's got a 6-speed transmission, racing tires, and an aerodynamic kit that makes it super agile and fast. With its awesome design and powerful engine, this race car proves that you don't need a big car to go fast and perform well.
(4/5) Subaru Impreza WRX
The Subaru Impreza is a Hot Wheels car that came out in 2005. It's based on the real Impreza WRC 2004 model. At first, it had a plastic body, a full roll cage, and a separate plastic wing, but they took off the wing and cage in 2008. The body was still plastic, though. They changed how the car looked in 2014, and now it has a metal body.
(5/5) Custom '69 Volkswagen Squareback
The Custom '69 Volkswagen Variant, also known as the Custom '69 Volkswagen Squareback, is a Hot Wheels car that was introduced in the 2010 Hot Wheels Delivery: Slick Rides Series. This Hot Wheels ride features a panel delivery wagon version of the Volkswagen Type 3. Interestingly, the panel version is the rarest of all Type 3's because it was only made in Germany and Australia. You may also know that the Type 3 was similar to the Fastback and Notchback models, and they were all sold alongside the popular Volkswagen Karmann Ghia sports car.
I'm happy to have got my hands on this cool Hot Wheels Spring 2024 set!
